Nigeria dropped four spots to finish in 31st place in the latest global ranking of male senior national teams released by FIFA yesterday.
The Super Eagles lost their place in the top 30 in the new rankings released by the global body yesterday morning.
The Super Eagles had finished in 28th position in May.
The Super Eagles started the year in 52nd spot and moved to 30th spot in February after their Afcon triumph. They fell to 31st place in April but rose to 28th in May and have now dropped again.
They played out a 2-2 draw with Mexico on May 31. Wednesday’s victory over Kenya in a competitive 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier is expected to impact on the next release in July.
They will also play against Namibia next week as well as the Confederations Cup in Brazil, all matches that will impact on their ranking for next month.
