Usain Bolt suffered a shock defeat in the Rome Diamond League after losing his first big 100m of the season to former Olympic Champion Justin Gatlin. The Jamaican had been suffering from a hamstring injury during the first part of the season and his rustiness showed as he couldn't catch the American in the final few metres, who ran a winning time of 9.94.
